Runaway Hit Lage Raho Munna Bhai Fails to Cheer Sanju
Lage Raho Munna Bhai (LRMB), not yet one week old, is on a record-breaking spree in Mumbai. Rumored to have made Rs.11 crores already from Mumbai alone, and still going strong with “housefull” boards hung at the ticket counters, LRMB has failed to cheer the dampened spirits of Sanjay Dutt despite his performance garnering rave views. What ails Sanju Baba, one may ask. Sanju, who was hugely involved with Gandhi-giri (Gandhi-ism) in the movie, is preparing for his final court hearing in the Mumbai bomb blasts case of 1993. The hearing scheduled for September 12 has Sanju all tensed up. His multitude of fans and Bollywood are sincerely hoping that Sanju is cleared of all charges, so that apun ka Munna Bhai can continue to entertain, bole toh, the way only he can.
